Adult Pottery Classes - SIX WEEKS
Our adult pottery classes are open to everyone—from absolute beginners to seasoned potters. In small groups, you’ll receive plenty of one-on-one guidance as you explore wheel throwing, glazing, and surface techniques. Whether you're just getting started or refining your personal style, our instructors are here to support your journey.

Wheel-Throwing
Each class is 2 hours long and limited to just 4 students, ensuring personal attention and plenty of time on the wheel. You'll explore a variety of throwing projects, glazing methods, and surface decoration techniques. Our experienced instructors are ready to guide you from your very first pot to more advanced, expressive forms.
We use cone 6 clay that is non-toxic and dinnerware-safe, so your beautiful creations are not only artistic but also food-safe and functional.

Hand-Building
Hand-building classes are limited to 7 students, offering a relaxed, supportive environment. With guided instruction, you’ll learn foundational techniques like coiling, slab construction, and pinching to create both functional and decorative pieces. This is a space to play, explore, and build confidence in your craft.
We use cone 6 clay that is non-toxic and dinnerware-safe, so your beautiful creations are not only artistic but also food-safe and functional.

Teen Class
In this enriching 6-week pottery course, will explore both hand-building and wheel techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Wheel students will learn or/and continue to advance their skills throwing, trimming, and glazing. Hand building students will learn all techniques to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces including slab work, coiling, and pinch pots.
Children Class
In this enriching 6-week pottery course, will explore both hand-building and wheel techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Our experienced instructors provide step-by-step guidance, helping each participant develop not only artistic skills, but also patience, problem-solving, and creative self-expression.
Pottery Classes for Teens and Kids - SIX WEEKS
Join our fun pottery classes designed just for teens and kids! No experience? No problem! Whether you're starting from scratch or want to improve your skills, we welcome everyone. In a friendly and creative environment, you'll learn how to throw clay on the wheel, glaze your creations, and explore different techniques. Our instructors are here to guide you and help you express your own unique style. Get ready to make some awesome pottery!

Cost: $200 per couple
Looking for a unique and memorable date idea? Try something a little different and new with someone you love in this engaging two-hour, instructor-led workshop—choose between the exciting techniques of hand-building or the captivating art of wheel-throwing. No prior experience needed at all!
Once you create your beautiful pieces, we will expertly glaze them for you, and they will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
To enhance your experience, wine will be available to toast and celebrate your special time together.

Clay Experience (Wheel or Hand-building) Intro Class $ 45
Curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a full session?
Our one-time introductory class is the perfect way to dive in and get hands-on with clay.This class is designed to give you a taste of the process, so while you won’t leave with a finished piece, you’ll gain a fun and exciting new experience. If you enjoy it, you can easily sign up for one of our full-class series to create pottery you can take home.

Class Fee includes two hour class a week and 4hrs weekly of practice time during scheduled hours
Personal tools required! Bring your own tools or purchase a basic tool kit at the studio ( $30 )
A firing fee will apply to your future enrollments at $0.06 per cubic inch. This single fee covers both bisque and glaze firings.
Aprons/Towels: Bring your own work shirt/apron, and a small towel that you are responsible for taking home and cleaning.
Classes and Makeups: Every student must commit to working during their allotted class time only. Students should email hello@artattelier.net to inquire about available spaces. Makeups can only happen during the same session
Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy, and leave your jewelry and watches at home
